Come be a part of City Harvest’s Young Adult community (22 years and above).

To bring young people to an encounter with the life-transforming presence of Jesus.

To provide a safe close-knit community for our young people, a place to belong, connect, explore and be themselves fearlessly.

Our young people gather every 3rd Sunday of the month at 01 pm after our second English Service over lunch. (There is nothing that cannot be discussed over biryanis!) Also, every meeting revolves around an informal discussion initiated by our youth pastors. These topics are well thought out, relevant, beneficial and practical.

Discussions on Work-Life balance, Marriage, Evangelism in the Workplace help our young people in understanding Biblical perspectives. Therefore, it challenges, inspires and enables our young people to serve in meaningful and significant ways in the church, the college, the community, the marketplace, and the world.

Article: Should I stay Single or Get Married?

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. {Ephesians 2:10}

Young people have great influence. Throughout history, young people have been used to impact and change the world. Likewise, God also used young people to bring about change in the Bible.

As a result, our desire for our young people and the church as a whole is to show the love and compassion of Jesus to a broken and hurting community. Watching our young people respond to Christ’s call, become involved, and continue to mature as Christians through servanthood is extremely fulfilling.

So consequently, we as a team have been on missions to remote places and minister in old-age homes and orphanages. We believe we are gifted and contributing our time, talent and finances towards these causes is our way of serving as the body of Christ.

Morning Star Home: CHAG Youth visit – Sep 21, 2019
John Kennedy Samson founded “Morning Star”, a home for street children, in August 1991 at Anekal, (Bangalore). Looking after one child, then another, with no money in his pockets, but just the will to help another human being survive, John and “Morning Star” moved to the present location at Chagalatti Village, Jalahobli, Yelahanka, Bangalore.

Our young adults visited this home that currently accommodates nearly 90 boys. Around 30% are physically disadvantaged. Sharing the love of Christ was the goal. Songs, dance, games, a little chit chat, and prayer connected our hearts to the children. In addition, monetary contribution was made among the youth and given to the home. We plan on taking a bigger team on our next visit.

If you are between the age group of 22 years and above, and have a heart for the lost and hurting, connect with us as we pour out God’s love to a community that needs it the most.

In conclusion, our leaders have a great desire to see our youth grow and excel in all spheres of influence with Godly character, divine wisdom and Kingdom principles.
