Why Easter?

We believe many of us have an idea of easter Sunday, some celebrate it because the world is doing so, be it the easter eggs as such or a time of feast or family gatherings and etc. However, is that really what is Easter about?

We believe we need to know and be aware of why? why do we do what we do? what is the meaning and purpose behind it? so why easter?

well, Easter is all about the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death.

Matthew 28:6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.

The term “Easter” refers to a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Bible says that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead (resurrection) three days following his crucifixion. Therefore, We celebrate Easter because we believe in the resurrection of Christ Jesus.
